City of Durham Request to Flex FHWA Funds to FTA (5307) Funds

Narrative

The City of Durham is pursuing the flexing of FHWA (STBG/CRPDA) funds to FTA (5307) funds for the purchase of additional electric buses. The City requests that the Technical Committee recommend that the TPO Board approve this request at their June 17, 2025 meeting. Upon approval by the TPO Board, this request will be forwarded to NCDOT/TPD/IMD for NCDOT Board of Transportation approval.  The projects are described in the attached memorandum.
