Narrative
Per the MPO Board bylaws, officer elections are to be held at the last regularly scheduled meeting of the calendar year. The bylaws allow for a Chair or Vice Chair to serve two consecutive terms. The bylaws further state that the Chair and Vice Chair may not come from the same county. Since Chair Howard is at the end of her first term as Chair, she is eligible to be elected to a second term. The same is true for Vice Chair Caballero.
