Narrative
Annually, the DCHC MPO is required by federal regulations to prepare a Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) that details and guides the urban area transportation planning activities. Funding for the UPWP is provided on an annual basis by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The UPWP must identify MPO planning tasks to be undertaken with the use of federal transportation funds, including highway and transit programs.  Attachment 5 is the draft FY 2015-2016 UPWP.  The MPO Board released this draft for public comment at their 1/14/2015 meeting. A public hearing must be held by  the MPO Board prior to UPWP approval.
 
 
Recommendation
TC Action:  Recommend that the MPO Board hold a public hearing on the draft FY 2015-2016 Unified Planning Work Program at the February 11, 2015 meeting.
