Title
Transit Asset Management (TAM) -- Transportation Performance Measure (TPM) (15 minutes)
Andy Henry, LPA Staff
Narrative
Based on federal transportation regulations, the DCHC MPO must state that the agency will support a series of Transportation Performance Measures (TPM) and demonstrate that support in the MPO's Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The attached presentation provides a brief status on all the TPMs, and then specifically discusses an update on MPO support for the transit systems' Transit Asset Management - State of Good Repair (TAM-SGR) plans. Any public transportation provider that owns, operates or manages FTA-funded vehicles or capital is required to have an asset management plan and targets. The targets often vary among the transit systems because of the differing age and mileage of their particular vehicle fleet and the varying condition of other capital assets such as buildings. The attached resolution states that the DCHC MPO supports the targets in the transit systems' TAM-SGR plans.
